Challenge: 1 hour, 1 thing

1hour1thing

This is the first discipleship challenge from Gold Hill. Welcome! Every month, on the first Monday of the month, we will be setting a challenge, and then throughout the month sharing our experiences. There is something so powerful about spurring one another on as we share stories about how God is moving in us as we step out for Him.

This month’s task is simple. So simple it has a hashtag: #onehouronething

Rather than making you read a long description of what we’re asking you to do, here’s a short video.

So, are you up for it?! Will you join us in praying for one thing—your ‘thing’—for one hour? And who can you send this video to and challenge to join you as you do?

Will you join us in praying for one thing—your 'thing'—for one hour? Click To Tweet

We would love to hear from you if you do (or if you don’t, telling us why you don’t think it’s for you). Drop a comment below, contact us through our contact form, share your experiences on social media using #onehouronething, and also get in touch with us directly to let us know. If you do, and if you want to, Dave will try to be in touch to share your experiences on Gold Hill Online.

If you've enjoyed this post, please share it around using the buttons below. Also, join the conversation and let us know what your thoughts are in the comments below. If you want to contact us directly about anything, you can do so here.

Great challenge Dave. I have believed for a long time now that praying with or for people is most effective when praying for the one thing that will make the biggest difference in the short term. That is where I am going this month for two saints in chronic illness.

Thanks Brian. Focus in prayer can be so important. Glad you’re joining in with this, and would love to hear your reflections some time if you have time.
